Still Life Photography – Glass

Searching through for some inspiration on still life photography and normally i would say i don’t really like the shadows, they have to be just right, and nice even balance, maybe some texture, patterns or shape to them. I’m not exactly sure why but i just feel when using studio lighting the shadows, for me, have to be realistic as if you would get them by using a direct source of sunlight.

These images experiment with reflections, shadows, light, colour, patterns and texture.

I am inspired by these images to go and try to recreate a similar style.

These images contradict that but i feel drawn to them as i really love the leading lines and patterns created by them.
